Pub Golf

How is it that time of year again! As per Thames tradition, we are having a pub golf night to kick off the season – welcome new people and get to know those changing squads.

We will tee-off at the club at 7pm (with a Jäger Bomb) and then progress on to a number of our favoured Putney venues! There will be games and prizes for the winners (it’s never the taking part that counts).

Select which squad you belong to below – this is simply to help us organise teams.

Entry fee is £5. Looking forward to seeing you all there!

End of Season Party

On Friday the 26th of July we host our end of season party for current members. With good weather forecast, and our bikini bodies at their peak, we have chosen a Baywatch theme!
Straight after work – we’re starting at 6.30pm, please come and have a drink or two (not three, we need to stay fit!) to celebrate what a fantastic year we’ve had for the men, women, senior, intermediate and novice squads! We will be serving Sex on the Beach cocktails and Punch (thank you Mike!) from 6:30pm for one hour (or till it lasts) and Jules will be cooking his infamous BBQ.
See you then and enjoy the sun!

Oxford-Cambridge Boat Race

Last Saturday we hosted a Warriors-themed party, which celebrated the end of a successful winter season for the men. This Sunday we invite club members to watch the boat race from our enviable balcony at the start-line of the race. The race starts at 4.30pm, but Jules will be serving lunch and Mike will be on the bar from 12.30pm, they’ll be a great atmosphere down here!

Some of us are off on training camp tomorrow to Lake Iseo, Sebino, in Italy (here’s a picture of the men’s squad from last year!), but for those that are around, please come down and support the Light or Dark Blues!

And let’s hope the weather holds out as it did last year…if not we’ll have screens up broadcasting the race!
